Instructions
Lay out two cheese crackers on a piece of parchment paper. Bake them at a very low temperature (150 to 170 degrees Fahrenheit; 66 to 77 degrees Celsius) for 15 minutes in order to dry out excess oils. Let the crackers cool completely.
Spray the crackers with two coats of Krylon Clear Acrylic Coating, front and back. Let the coating dry between coats.
Let the crackers cure for 24 hours.
Mix Amazing Clear Cast +Plus 2-part epoxy resin according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Using a paintbrush, apply a light layer of resin to one side of the cheese crackers. Let the resin cure for 24 hours.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for the other side of the crackers.
Mix Devcon® 5 Minute® 2-part epoxy.
Using the 2-part epoxy, attach a 13.5x7mm gold-plated flat heart glue-on bail to one side of one of the crackers. Repeat for the other cracker.
String a Crystal Passions® 8mm dark orange puffed square bead onto a 1.5 inch 21-gauge gold-plated eye pin. Finish the eye pin with a wrapped loop.
Repeat Step 9 for the second earring.
Using a 5.5mm 20-gauge gold-plated round jump ring, attach the beaded drop from Step 8 to the bail on the cracker. Repeat for the second earring.
Attach the loop on the beaded drop to a 17mm 22-gauge gold-plated fishhook ear wire. Repeat for the second earring.
